Privacy Shield invalidation

In short, Privacy Shield is a framework that permitted personal data to be transferred from EU to Privacy Shield certified organizations in the US.

After the invalidation of Privacy Shield one alternative to transfer personal data to US organizations from EU is to use the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

We have contacted all our US subcontractors that process personal data and made sure that we now have updated data processing agreements with each and every one that includes SCCs.

In turn, our subprocessors appendix (Appendix A – Subprocessors) have been updated to reflect the changes made due to the invalidation of Privacy Shield. More information can be found via the links below.
